MAC MakeUp Base

MAC review on the make up base. These are what I've tried. I'm being super honest tulis review ni.

 





 

 

 

Only these 5 things. Banyak lagi brand MAC I've tried.

Tapi nak review on these je dulu.

 

 

 

 

Moisturizer.

Studio Moisture Fix SPF 15.

I loovveeee this. Tak oily. The texture is quite thick so you feel like tahan lama on the face.

Feels good on your skin.

But I may be akan try moisturizer lain juga. Like the Lightful Softening Lotion maybe.

 

 

 

 

Foundation.

Matchmaster SPF 15.

I don't like this.

Why? Because everytime lepas pakai ni my face akan break out.

The texture is very light. And maybe because of that lagi senang nak masuk pores and block them.

Maybe la because of that. Maybe memang tak sesuai for my skin.

Before this I tried brand Clinique. It was ok. I prefer that one than this.

 

 

 

Prep + Prime

Fortified Skin Enhancer.

Super love love love this..!!

Can wear this with or without foundation. Still best.

It's like skin tone corrector.

Yang ni kalau habis I will buy the same one again.

Teringin nak try the BB cream. Tapi I just soo love this one.

Not sure if I should try the BB cream or not.

 

 

 

 

Compact Powder.

Studio Perfect.

Nope, I don't like this.

I used to wear Benefit. For 3 years memang pakai tu je. Tapi ni menggatal nak try MAC pula.

Don't like it for the finishing touch. Nampak macam pakai bedak tebal sangat.

When I sweat, lagi nampak obvious.

Break out juga ni. Habis penuh pimple okayyy.

But guess what, before tangkap gambar ni, I accidently dropped this on the floor.

Bedak tak pecah pun. Whoaa so padat.

 

 

 

 

Concealer.

Select Moisture Cover.

Sangat sayang pada ini.

Yang ni liquid. Easy to apply, easy to blend kan.

Even after pakai everything, boleh still apply ni and tak akan nampak obvious.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I love 3 out of 5 things. Ok la juga kan. Lain-lain skin lain effect nya. Brand gempak tak semestinya semua akan ok. For the foundation, I will habiskan juga and then baru beli baru. But not the compact powder. Will buy the usual Benefit punya and will just use MAC compact powder tu for keluar biasa-biasa je around Shah Alam makan kat kedai mamak (specific betul).





 



MAC Birthday Present

 

 

 

My birthday present given by my beloved cousin, Izzah

MAC lipstick and the biggest pallete eye shadow with four colours of eye shadows.

Masa buka present ni, I was like "Ohhheemgeee, awesome nyaaaa"

And then perasaan untuk memenuhkan pallete tu membuak-buak. Amboi.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The lipstick.

Colour : Dare You @ Cabar Kau :P

 

 

When I first saw the lipstick I thought it's sooo red.

But bila pakai it suits perfectly. Red but not too red.

This is my very first lipstick.

Selama ni memang pakai lip gloss je.

 

 

 

 

Nice red..!!!

Senang nak match tudung since I have lots of red coloured shawls.

 

Oh, please ignore my tired face.

Been crazy with my cake making job.

 

 

 

The colours from top left : Woodwinked Veluxe Pearl, Satin Taupe, Beauty Marked Velvet,

and Steamy Frost.

 

 

 

 

The 3 colours on the first row are sooo my colours.

Yang turquoise tu is not really me. Memang Izzah cakap dia saja beli.

But I love turquoise hijab, so definitely will try and wear that one.

 

But my favourite between these four is Beauty Marked Velvet.

It's actually black with purple glitters. Cantik je bila pakai.

Dear Izzah, thank you for the lovely gift. Memang dua-dua pun tengah crazy with makeups.

And also thank you for making me addicted to lipstick. Balas dendam ek. Haha.

 

The pallete tak muat kat my makeup's toolbox. Solution, I'll buy a pouch big enough for the pallete, and will use it for traveling. Good idea kan. Tapi belum beli lagi la.

 

And haruslah penuhkan lagi pallete tuuuuuu. Black colours. And pink. Need to have pink and red. Horror ke kalau eye shadow merah? Belum cuba belum tau.

So lepas tu kena tangkap gambar nak tengok makeup, tudung semua ok ke tak.

So memang tak heran la kan nak senyum.

New Toolbox

 

 

Even though I'm not a make up artist, but I just can't stop buying makeup.

Every month akan put aside sikit money untuk beli new things.

 

 

Dulu I stored my makeups in this box.

Semua campak masuk.

 

 

Kalau benda kecik macam eye liner memang satu kerja nak kena korek.

Brushes pun pakai campak so agak sayang la kalau rosak.

But this was the best sebab kemas boleh tutup and plus dapat free dari mana entah.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But then, tetiba one day jalan-jalan kat Pavillion ternampak this jewellery box.

Jual kat stall tengah-tengah near food court tu.

Jual je kat stall tapi bukan nya murah. Eiikk.

But bought it anyway sebab the awesomeness.

 

 

 

Ahhh memang jatuh cinta.

Yes, this was more for jewelleries and watches.

 

 

 

So I had to take all these out.

The small box tu boleh buat untuk travelling.

 

 

 

 

 

 

And voila....

 

Puas hati nyaaaa.

Can you just imagine how big this box is.

Sangat organized.

Imma happy konon-makeup-artist.

 

Tapi bila dah susun cantik-cantik, this box boleh muat lagi 2-3 barang je.

So that limits me to buy new make up. Ok la juga.

At least control sikit.

 

 

 

 

 

Edit The Skin

Typical stress step by step

 

 

- Mula-mula stress 

- And then acne confirm keluar

- So extra stress

- So extra acne..grrrr

- Concealer tak membantu sangat 

- Tak boleh pakai make up tebal-tebal sebab nanti lagi teruk

- Bila tangkap gambar sendiri jadi benci, tapi tangkap juga

- Perfect 365 app sangat membantu

 

 

 

 

Ni menipu tahap max. Mascara panjang, blusher tebal, pakai contact lens.

Konon macam nak kahwin la.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yang ni pula di edit konon-konon macam tak menipu padahal still menipu sebab flawless sangat kan muka tu. Tapi konon macam natural je.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well at least edit pakai apps won't hurt my skin more. I won't apply any foundation kalau muka tengah teruk. So this is the best conclusion. Heeeee.

Baking Beauties

Now at MAC, Baking Beauties collection...!!! Sanggup haritu paksa Mama pergi shopping semata-mata nak beli ni sebab takut sold out. But I think ni tak segempak Archie's Girls collection sebab packaging Baking ni biasa je. 

I'm a cake decorator who loves pakai make up. So tak payah la nak explain panjang-panjang kenapa I wanted this so badly.

In for a treat.

Pearlmatte face powder.

This is for highlighting. Tak try lagi. Baru try kat kedai MAC je but I love it.

At first I wanted to buy the other color, Pink buttercream.

Just because I decorate with buttercream a lot.

Tapi tak sesuai with my skin color.

Eclair.

Paint pot.

(Tak nampak sangat the color dalam gambar)

Eye shadow yang sangat awesome. Loving the color sangat-sangat.

So easy to wear. Just wear this one color is enough. No need to add on color lain.

Rindu buat choux pastry. Cream puff and eclair. Asyik busy je.

So I just bought those two. Plan konon nak beli banyak-banyak macam ada all the money in the world. Tapi sudahnya rasa is not that necessary pun. I'm not a make up artist pun. 

The best part is, today I just found out that all the cakes with the MAC model dalam gambar kat atas sekali tu was designed by Peggy Porschen, a cake designer that I really admire. I have her books ok. Background make up yang I tangkap gambar tu is her book that I bought few years ago. Her creations are just amazing.

Archie's Girls

I'm a big fan of Archie's comic. Started reading and collecting since I was 10. Tapi time sekolah menengah stop baca kejap because of financially tak mampu. Huhu. Bila dah make my own money start kumpul and baca balik. But I think start last year dah slow sikit. Once in a while je beli.

So in March, MAC launched The Archie's Girls makeup. Oh memang la menjerit keriangan.

I love makeup. I love Archie. The combination means 'must buy'.

I bought. Sampai 4 things. Went with my cousin and we both just went crazy.

Semangat lepas tu beli Archie comic to take picture while lunch. Heeee.

Here's what I bought.

Betty's make up.

Caramel Sundae Eye shadow.

Loving the colors..!! Light colors. Very nice if tak nak pakai heavy makeup.

Designer Purple Eye liner.

My god..!! Serious ni menyesal beli. Looks weird bila pakai. 

Pandai the sales girl cucuk suruh beli. 

Veronica's make up.

Opulash Mascara.

Not bad. Untuk panjang kan.

Petrol Blue Eye liner.

Very dark blue with glitters. Ok la.

Sometimes I wear with brown eye liner so that tak nampak obvious. But not as bad as the purple one.

Menyesal tak beli lip gloss or lipstick.

Since I'm a vaseline type of person, so I decided tak nak beli masa tu.

Balik rumah baru menyesal. Nevermind.

To prove I'm a big fan of Archie's comic. 

Got a full box of that. I think 100 books ada kot.

Yang kat atas tu pun the small frame with their pictures tu pun sanggup beli juga dulu. 

Now MAC tengah jual Baking Beauties collection. Tak pergi tengok lagi. I'm sure spend money lagi. Haihh. What to do, I'm a cake decorator yang suka make up.
