Makcik ni dah selamat sampai kat UK hari Jumaat lepas. Punya la lama teringin nak sambung study kat UK, and finally she's there. And left me here. Uwaaaaaa.

 

 

Before she went, sempat la pergi shopping at Pyramid makan Bubba Gump and minum Starbucks. Konon last la tu. And on Thursday I couldn't send her to the airport. Ada wedding cake 3-tier kena buat. Memang tak boleh keluar rumah. Haihh.

 

 

Pictures, few days before at my house. Eryn datang beraya. Sebelum balik, ni adalah perkara wajib. Tangkap gamboor.

Dear makcik, have fun kat sana. Take a good care of yourself. Rajin-rajin call your mom. Belajar kuat-kuat. Makan pun banyak-banyak. Muahahaha. Cari all those good places for hot chocolate and cupcakes. Nanti kalau I datang sana senang you terus bawa je. Don't come back blonde with mini skirts. Just don't. Hobby

Suddenly teringin nak ada hobby baru. Not sure lagi nak buat exactly apa. Nak hobby yang tak keluar kan banyak sangat duit. If ada profit, Alhamdulillah. Kalau tak ada pun tak apa. Outside kitchen area. Something that I can share in this blog. Apa ye?


List of choices :

Make up art - Bukan yang untuk wedding elegant sweet style tu. But the weird ones. Macam create zombie makeup or leopard ke. Conteng-conteng sikit muka and then tangkap-tangkap gambar.
Question is, siapa nak kena buli jadi model untuk practice. I don't mind to do on my own face tapi sure segan nak post gambar kat sini. Financially, not bad kot since I love normal makeup but maybe kena beli extra makeup with vibrant colours.


Cycling - It's expensive..!! Tapi best. That's why it's on the list. Tapi baik buka kedai dari spend kat situ.


Corsage brooch - Made once masa my brother's wedding. Untuk family, sedara-mara pakai. I had so much fun making them. But my jahitan tak kemas (tapi boleh cover and with lots of practice ok je). My mom sokong this idea. Boleh buat jual.


Folk art - Mama's idea. I love drawing. Not good at it. Mama suggest this so that I can relax plus boleh draw using edible ink on my cakes.


Photography - If I choose this one, tak nak masuk kelas. Nak try explore sendiri. Ok kot. Yang ni sesuai juga with 'make up art'.


Kick boxing - Ada ke yang around Shah Alam and also sesuai for muslimah ladies? Meaning tak campur dengan lelaki. If ada, I'll choose this one without fikir lain lagi dah.


Swimming - I love to swim. I can do laps (tapi tak tau la dah lama tak swim). If swim, actually anytime boleh. Not really a new hobby. Or maybe belajar diving. Oh saya gayat. But if this one tak boleh share dekat blog la ye. Aurat gituww.


Piano - I quit after SPM after 7 years belajar. Patut continue balik ke? Tangan dah keras dah asyik uli fondant.

At the moment, my hobby is sleeping and eating :p

Quit

Lately I heard a lot about quitting. Both jobs and education courses. Not me, no, not me. People around me. I don't blame them. I was once like that. Tak suka je terus quit. Even things yang I quit tu quite big juga.


But I'm happy with what I'm doing right now. After many tries.




My advice on quitting:

"If you want to quit, then quit. But that doesn't mean you'll love the next thing you want to do"


The result could be super great or just the same like before. But not forgetting, it could be worse as well.

MAC Birthday Present

 

 

 

My birthday present given by my beloved cousin, Izzah

MAC lipstick and the biggest pallete eye shadow with four colours of eye shadows.

Masa buka present ni, I was like "Ohhheemgeee, awesome nyaaaa"

And then perasaan untuk memenuhkan pallete tu membuak-buak. Amboi.

When I first saw the lipstick I thought it's sooo red.

But bila pakai it suits perfectly. Red but not too red.

This is my very first lipstick.

Selama ni memang pakai lip gloss je.

 

 

 

 

Nice red..!!!

Senang nak match tudung since I have lots of red coloured shawls.

 

Oh, please ignore my tired face.

Been crazy with my cake making job.

The 3 colours on the first row are sooo my colours.

Yang turquoise tu is not really me. Memang Izzah cakap dia saja beli.

But I love turquoise hijab, so definitely will try and wear that one.

 

But my favourite between these four is Beauty Marked Velvet.

It's actually black with purple glitters. Cantik je bila pakai.

Dear Izzah, thank you for the lovely gift. Memang dua-dua pun tengah crazy with makeups.

And also thank you for making me addicted to lipstick. Balas dendam ek. Haha.

 

The pallete tak muat kat my makeup's toolbox. Solution, I'll buy a pouch big enough for the pallete, and will use it for traveling. Good idea kan. Tapi belum beli lagi la.

 

And haruslah penuhkan lagi pallete tuuuuuu. Black colours. And pink. Need to have pink and red. Horror ke kalau eye shadow merah? Belum cuba belum tau.

 



Raya 2013 (Part 3)

Part 3 adalah berkenaan dengan sehari sebelum raya. Preparation day la konon nya.

 

Every family pun ada their own speciality dish(es). My family punya adalah rendang nasib, sambal goreng and ketupat. Tiap-tiap tahun pun masing-masing punya tugas sama je.

 

My tugas every year (nampak macam sikit tapi actually banyak sebab amount banyak sangat)  :

-kupas and blend bawang, serai, cili for rendang.



-isi beras dalam ketupat
-tolong kacau-kacau rendang kalau abang tengah take a break

Oh btw, gambar in progress tak la from A-Z sebab tak sempat sambil buat sambil tangkap gambor. End product semua tak ada gambar.

Rendang Nasib.

Dipanggil 'nasib' sebab ada daging, limpa, and paru. So nasib la bila ambil tu dapat apa.

 

 



 

Ni la yang dah di blend.

 

 

 

Tumis.

 

 

 

Masak ni sekali dua dalam setahun.

So kalau buat memang sangat banyak sampai kena masak belakang rumah.

Tradition dari monyang masak banyak-banyak untuk dibagi-bagi.

 

 

 

 

Tukang kacau yang asyik nak take a break je.

Tapi gempak juga la this year my brother and I dah pandai agak-agak quantity sugar, kerisik to add.

Sedap. Hee.

 

 Sambal Goreng.

Orang jawa memang akan makan ni.

Kecuali yours truly ni.

Habis kena kutuk dengan sedara-mara sebab tak makan.

Padahal I can speak the most bahasa jawa. Hehe tak ada la banyak sangat.

Tapi lagi banyak la dari diorang yang tak tau langsung.

"Tak cukup jawa kalau tak makan sambal goreng", they said.

Tumis.

Sambal goreng my sister dah gempak buat from A-Z.

Tapi masih di guide oleh mama ku.

 

 

 

 

 

Ketupat.

 

 

I'm the only one who doesn't know how to meganyam ketupat.

Sebab every time pun I'm the one yang kena basuh, isi beras, ikat and all.

 

Makan ketupat memang sangat puas to compare with nasi impit.

Obviously la kan.

 

 

 

 

That's my raya. Tak tau la ada part 4 or 5 ke tak. Depend kalau time open houses tu rajin tangkap-tangkap gambar. Tapi selalu kalau pergi open house mesti senyum-senyum je. Tak tangkap gambar sangat pun. 

 

 

Raya 2013 (Part 2)

Can't remember bila start, tapi every year dah jadi macam tradition the 4 of us main mercun + bunga api. Sometimes akan ada orang lain yang join seperti kakak-kakak kitorang or cousins lain. Tapi yang 4 orang-tak-sedar-diri-dah-tua ni memang maintain tiap-tiap tahun main.

 

This year kitorang main dua kali. Dua rumah berbeza. Saja suka.

 

Dulu-dulu kalau main it was just about the fun of it. Tapi sekarang, fun + creativity + photography + spending time together (since masing-masing pun dah agak busy).

 

 I should have tangkap gambar behind the scene. Siap guna 2 camera, tripod, speedlite bagai. Over tau.

 

Gambar kat bawah gambar bunga api je. Mercun tak tangkap sangat sebab nak dengar bunyi je lebih.

Don't mind our outfits. We just wore apa-apa asal tutup aurat. Sorang dengan seluar pyjamas. Sorang dengan baju, tudung tak bergosok. Sorang dengan seluar tak cukup panjang sebab tau nanti boleh crop gambar. Sorang dengan pakai baju mama dia yang dah 14 tahun (saya la tu).

Gambar pagi raya kat Seksyen 8, Shah Alam. Gambar beraya kat Ipoh on Abah's side tak ada. Ada gambar babies comel-comel je. Sebab kat sana ramai sangat, so ramai juga la yang keluarkan camera.

Tak banyak sebab first time berkumpul beraya at our house.

So macam kelam kabut and

tak tangkap-tangkap gambar before yang lain datang.

But the truth we were just super excited dapat kumpul ramai-ramai at our house.

I stayed up until 1am malam raya untuk mop lantai. Wooottt.

It's a way untuk merendahkan diri juga la kot.

Third August

Alhamdulillah. I turned 24 on Sabtu terakhir this Ramadan. Saya dah tua?

My mom got married at my age. Whoaaaa.

No pictures. Was too busy making cakes untuk orang order. Tak sempat nak buat cake untuk sendiri. Uwaaa. Someone ordered small red velvet cake. Ada extra batter buat as cupcakes. And then ambil satu tangkap gambar post kat instagram. Wuuu. Tapi tu pun dah comel dah.

But the truth, there's nothing to complain as I'm more than grateful with what I have. Abah gave super awesome gift. Until now tengah wonder how to balas balik in future.

I don't know why, tapi rasa age 24 tu macam dah grown up sangat. Dah kerja. Dah fikir pasal kahwin. Dah fikir pasal saving tapi nak sambung belajar. Dah start tulis / keep record untuk personal expenses (Ya Allah I really need to control my spending). Dah teringin nak LV and Gucci for real. Eh.










Baby cepaaat keluar. Your awesome aunty can't wait to meet you. Kalau keluar cepat sikit nanti boleh celebrate birthday sama-sama.

Online Shopping vs. In-Store Shopping

Based on my experience la. On clothes and hijabs. Kalau cake tak pernah la pula ada experience. Everything pun ada pros and cons.

Online Shopping = OS,   In-Store Shopping = IS

RM 100

OS = Rasa murah, because the money is there in the bank account.

IS = Rasa mahal sebab cash limited dalam purse (for a person like me yang tak suka guna debit card/credit card).

Size 

OS = Ingat senang ke nak ukur badan sendiri to match the measurement yang online shop tu bagi? Entah betul ke tak. Itu pun kalau ada letak measurement la. Kalau yang semua nya tulis free size tapi tak muat or besar sangat, macam mana?

IS = At least kalau tak muat or tak ada size, for sure la tak beli kan.

Time

OS = Sepantas kilat. Lagi-lagi now dah banyak yang guna 'add to cart' system tu. Just a click away.

IS = Nak kena siap cantik-cantik. Jalan pusing satu mall untuk cari barang. 

Exersice

OS = Lemak memang tak akan terbakar sebab duduk je.

IS = Alasan untuk work out sikit. Jalan-jalan, and angkat those shopping bags.

Material 

OS = Dalam gambar nampak cantik, dah dapat tengok kain tu tebal untuk Malaysia yang sangat 'sejuk' ni.

IS = Can feel the material sesuai ke tak. Melekat kat body ke tak. Tebal ke tak. 

Delivery

OS = Abang poslaju pun satu, ring door bell macam nak pecah rumah. Sila la faham yang hijabers take time sikit nak sarung jubah and tudung. Apa kau ingat dalam rumah kitorang pakai tudung ke haaa. Lepas tu kalau time tengah tak ada kat rumah memang banyak kerja la kan.

IS = Confirm terus dapat.

Influence

OS = Semua model pakai apa-apa pun memang cantik la kan. Lepas tu perasan diri ni pun sama cantik dengan body model. 

IS = Kadang-kadang salesgirl/guy memang pandai pujuk beli benda yang tak perlu sangat.

Busy

OS = Sangat membantu bila tak ada time but really need to spend.

IS = Sometimes, dalam sebulan tak pergi mana-mana mall sebab busy sangat.

Sold out

OS = Kalau dah sold out memang akan tau.

IS = Penat-penat pergi tapi dah sold out.

Lately memang banyak sangat beli through online. Maybe because I love the fact yang nowadays dah banyak Muslimah fashion line. Tapi yang mana tak ada kedai kat area Shah Alam or at big shopping malls, memang susah sikit nak pergi.
